OUR HISTORY

BOWMAC was established in 1980, delivering high-quality training programs in three main areas: Critical Incident Management, Project Planning/Problem Solving, and Interviewing & Investigative Strategies.

The “REDI3 for Emergencies” planning software was initially developed in 1997 in collaboration with the National League of Cities Risk Information Sharing Consortium. Over the past 20 years it has evolved into an online solution for Community Emergency Planning. The original development team sought to solve a big problem for educational organizations, and that was coordinating with Public Safety responders. While it was not required at the time, we settled on the Incident Command System (ICS) as the best vehicle for that coordination. Since then, ICS has become a mandate under the Nation Incident Management System (NIMS) and our software continues to facilitate that process. 

In 2019 BOWMAC joined  forces with BLUELINE Security Consulting Group, LLC. With todays high threat enviorment BLUELINE understands the need for asset protection and they share a passion about keeping organizations safe and secure. BLUELINE also understand that many organizations continue to struggle with small budgets and personnel shortages. The “REDI3 for Emergencies” Software was developed as a budget-friendly, Emergency Management readiness tool, one that you update and train to, but hopefully never need.
